Why am I here? Why are you here?

Card Sender

Why am I here? Why are you here?

Me? I’m on a mission to help people see how easy it is to spread joy with hand written cards & notes and how keeping a journal will keep YOU from losing it. Sending a Greeting Card is such a great way to show you care, to connect, to be a good friend, family member, human.

Journaling will make future you so happy. The benefits are numerous, but for me it’s been my paper therapist.

I get it. The irony of using a blog and an Instagram account to promote writing on paper isn’t lost on me. Chalk it up to meeting people where they are. The two are not mutually exclusive. You can be active on Social Media and still send cards and keep a paper journal.

I’m not here to demonstrate how to make Greeting Cards. Crafty is not me. (The closest I’ve gotten is using Shutterfly to make cards.) Kudos to everyone that makes their own cards, but I’m a fan of retail and need the occasional experience of retail therapy. I love to find the perfect card in person at a good, old-fashioned brick & mortar business. We have enough digital in our lives already, right??

Why are you here?

I hope that you are a fan of the hand written word and that you are a supporter. I plan to introduce you to great card makers from around the country. But if you’re not there just yet, don’t worry. You’ll find tips to help it become easier for you to be a card sender and journal keeper.

Because ultimately, the world needs a little more kindness and joy shared.

And I always keep cards people send me. I have a whole wall covered with them.
